In July 2007, the Kyoto City Tourist Association started a new and fun event for foreign tourists in cooperation with the WaRaiDo Guide Networks. Since the beginning, the tour has been very popular. As a result, the organizers have decided to hold the tour twice a week and extend the tour period until the end of March 2012.
